Mindfulness
Stress can be highly contagious affecting so many people and their families today. I teach an accredited 8 week mindfulness course for stress (MBSR), as well as mindful parenting classes and individual or couple sessions. These are run online via Zoom sessions in small groups with face to face individual & couple sessions at the Complementary Health Partnership in Claygate, Surrey
Neuroscience research has shown that a regular mindfulness practice can help reduce symptoms of stress, chronic pain, anxiety and depression relapses, and other mental and physical problems.
When we are aware of our thoughts, feelings and body sensations we can recognize the signs of stress and therefore take steps to improve our wellbeing.
With over six years of teaching experience, I offer everyday mindful living practices together with stress management tools and coping strategies that encourage mind and body awareness. These include:
- Breathwork & mindful movement
- Mind & body meditations
- Anxiety & stress relief
- Mindfulness for pain management
- Teen health & mindful parenting
- Mindful communications & creativity
Book a taster session to understand the benefits of mindfulness and how it can support your health and wellbeing. Normally a course of 6 to 8 sessions is offered as a beginner’s course to ensure the full range of practices are introduced into your everyday life.
