I am a fully qualified and registered Osteopath and I also enjoying treating clients using sports massage and kinesiology taping.
I remember even at a young age of having a curiosity and passion for understanding how the body works. I have fond memories from growing up in Zimbabwe when I used to give my grandmother gentle massages to help her aches and pains, and from her being my first client, I decided that a career in health care was for me. As well as working in two other clinics before joining TCHP, I also worked with the NHS in an Advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy team treating patients suffering with acute and chronic back pain and other conditions that affected their lifestyles.
The highlight of being an Osteopath and treating clients every day is that I help patients to feel improvements in their aches and pains so that they can go back to living their lives. I treat each of my patients individually by understanding their past medical history and the specific symptoms that they bring to us. Once I have had a chat about their health and assessed my client, I tailor my treatments to meet their needs and help them reach their health goals.
I use hands-on treatment techniques which include gentle manipulation, massage, Muscle Energy Technique (which is assisted stretching), 'strain-counterstrain' (gently manipulating tender points to release tension) plus kineseo-taping. I will also combine these with advice to help my client continue their recovery when they get home, which will enhance their body’s own healing mechanisms.
Being a Basketball player myself, I understand how frustrating it is to have injuries, so do visit us soon if you have an injury or other health issue that is bothering you, and I look forwards to meeting you!

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO USE PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR YOUR TREATMENT:
In recent years, many of the Insurance companies that we worked with have stopped covering the full costs of your Osteopathy treatment with us - leaving a shortfall of around 50% of the fees. As we are a business we cannot unfortunately cover this shortfall and are sadly unable to accept many clients who wish to pay by insurance.
At present, we have had to stop working with BUPA, AXA PPP, Vitality Health, but this list is not exhaustive so please check with the therapist to make sure before you arrange treatment.
