All of our podiatrists are fully qualified with many years of experience between us. We are all members of the College of Podiatry (MCPOD) and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council which is a requirement of all practicing podiatrists.

Fiona Kumar 

MCPOD, HCPC Registered (CH32301), BSc (Hons) Podiatry

Fiona started Surrey Foot Service in 2017 after several years’ experience of working in private practice and the NHS. She is qualified in all areas of Podiatry and is able to deal with any foot problem you may have. She is committed to offering the highest standard of professional foot care and tailoring treatments to each individual’s needs. Fiona qualified from the University of Southampton in 2011.

She enjoys all aspects of podiatry, and has a particular interest in Biomechanics and Nail Surgery. Fiona enjoys keeping fit in her spare time with Pilates, swimming and running. She is originally from Edinburgh, and now lives in Epsom with her husband and two young children.

Available treatments include:

General podiatry, biomechanics / gait analysis, orthotic prescription, verruca needling, toenail reconstruction, nail surgery. 

Melissa Bennett 

MCPOD, HCPC Registered (CH14266), BSc (Hons) Podiatry 

Since graduating from the University of Brighton, Melissa has spent nearly 20 years working in both the NHS and in private practice offering treatments and advice for the full range of podiatry services, e.g. routine chiropody, nail surgery, biomechanics and orthotic advice, as well as an Occupational Health Podiatrist for the John Lewis Department Store in Kingston.

Melissa has previously worked at Chelsea Football club, treating squad members along with the club physiotherapist and also at the Sunrise Nursing Home, helping all residents, including those suffering with dementia.

Available treatments include:

General podiatry – this includes corns, callus, verrucae, infections (bacterial/ fungal), nail problems i.e. in growing, thickened, fungal, discolouration, bacterial infections.

Cindy Koen 

MCPOD, HCPC Registered (CH34271), BSc (Hons) Podiatry 

Cindy works locally in the NHS and specialises in biomechanics – assessing pain and dysfunction of the foot and lower limb. She is originally from South Africa and now lives in Surrey with her family.  

Available treatments include:

General podiatry, biomechanics / gait analysis, orthotic prescription, nail surgery.
