Sam is starting an 8-week Mindful Based Stress Reduction course on 6th October to help you learn how the practice of mindfulness can help improve your stress levels & general health in these uncertain times.
Research has shown that an 8 week mindfulness course can help reduce stress levels, manage anxiety & improve emotional wellbeing.
This practical course consists of 8 weekly, 1hour & 45 mins evening sessions on Zoom with guided breathwork, movement & meditation practices that you can fit into your everyday life. It also includes an on-site retreat day on Sun 22nd November to deepen your practice in a beautiful wellbeing studio in the heart of Esher, Surrey. (This session is also available online, for those that can’t make the day). The course is designed for complete beginners, but those with previous meditation experience will also benefit. Each week is themed with coping strategies & practical tools to support you beyond the programme. The course is limited to a small group to ensure everyone benefits from a shared online learning experience together with time for reflection each week.To apply contact Sam for a free online 20 minute taster & application form & to ask any questions you may have. Costs: A £50 refundable deposit is required to secure your place. Costs are £22 per session or £216 for the course including retreat day fees. Please note special financial rates are available for those with limited resources in these Covid times. It is also open to those that have completed a course before & wish to refresh their personal practice. The MBSR is also an ideal place to start for those wishing to go onto teach mindful based intervention classes or skills. Please ask for more details.
